2020 athome A-List Award For Bath Design

Steven Mueller Architects, LLC is proud to announce that this Coastal English Manor Style property has received the distinction of first place in the 2020 A-List Award for “Bath Design: Traditional/Classic” at the athome magazine’s 11th annual premier home design competition on September 16, 2020.

athome magazine sets out on a yearly mission to discover and display the most captivating interiors and exceptional architecture in the area. Hundreds of competitive submissions are placed before a panel of judges to be evaluated. Judges this year included architects Keith Williams, Edward Siegel, and Brian Sawyer, alongside interior designers Jesse Carrier, Mara Miller, Britt Zunino, and Damian Zunino.

Inspired by the Coastal English Manor Architectural Style, this new 12,000 square foot home is located on 2 acres of beautifully landscaped property in an RA-1 Zone of Riverside, Connecticut. For this sleek bathroom, Steven Mueller Architects incorporated an abundance of natural light and open space to create a peaceful environment. The island, alongside the practical hanging double-sided mirror, allows for movement and individuality in the bathroom. The beautifully crafted marble shower that leads out to a shielded porch is one of a kind and allows for an elevated experience.
